State Availability

In short

This site blocks commercial offers in 14 states: California, Connecticut, Idaho, Indiana, Louisiana, Maine, Michigan, Montana, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Washington. This is our offer-blocking policy, not a verified list of states where every sweepstakes casino is illegal.

Site policy, operator restrictions and legal status are separate questions. All research remains public. The table below covers all 50 states and DC; a state without a site-wide block is not legal clearance or confirmation that an operator accepts you.

California AB 831 prohibits the defined dual-currency online sweepstakes games and specified activities supporting them. The law includes exceptions, including certain incidental promotional sweepstakes; it is not a blanket prohibition on all promotions. California AB 831, Chapter 623, approved October 11, 2025. Reviewed September 18, 2026.

Washington RCW 9.46.240 prohibits knowingly transmitting or receiving gambling information over the internet and other listed means, with exceptions for activities authorized under the chapter. This provision alone is not an operator-specific legal determination. Washington RCW 9.46.240. Reviewed September 18, 2026.

No. An operator accepting a state does not establish that its product complies with state law. Promotional sweepstakes, dual-currency casino-style products and entertainment-only games cannot be treated as one legal category. This page does not provide a definitive legal-state list or identify the most recent state closure.

California and Texas

California has the specific AB 831 source note above and a state record. This site has no state-wide Texas offer block, but we have not completed a Texas legal-source review. That difference in site policy is not a conclusion that the same product is legal in Texas.
